Who We Are

It all started with an idea of having a place for artists to share their art with the community and people visiting Stehekin, Washington. Artists volunteered together and formed Arts & Humanities of Stehekin, a registered non-profit organization in the State of Washington. Today the organization continues to support and promote the arts in the Stehekin Valley by exhibiting artwork and providing educational programs and presentations for all who come to Stehekin.

Stehekin is a small, remote community at the head of Lake Chelan in the North Cascades Mountains. It is only accessible by boat, foot, and small plane. It has become an inspiration for many who either call this place home or visit.
